Did Erich 'Mancow' Muller Fake His Waterboarding for Publicity? (Gawker)
Mancow's 'Waterboarding' Was Completely Fake (Gawker)
Bored Bloggers Are All Wet (Mancow Muller)
So besides giving that idiot Keith Olberman more ammunition to beat Bush and Cheney with, what did Mancow really accomplish with this whole thing? Did Mancow really have to go through the act of waterboarding just to convince us that it's not a nice thing? I think we can all agree that waterboarding is not a very pleasant experience and nobody would want to go through it, especially me. But that's the entire point of waterboarding. Waterboarding is a very unpleasant interrogation tool. If you on the left want to call it "torture", then so be it. What do I care if three men who plotted, financed, and executed an operation that killed 3,000 innocent American lives in 90 minutes were "tortured" in order to find out if there were anymore 9/11 type missions lurking out there. I'd love to pay Keith Olbermann $1,000 for every minute he could withstand being trapped on the 100th floor of a skyscrapper, completely surrounded by fire and smoke, and no way to escape but to jump out to the street below. Then if he survives all that, I'll stick a microphone into his face and ask him if that was "torture".
