Left-wing blog: Obama is the definition of "competence"

There's a question that is being asked about why late-night comedians and such are not poking fun at President Obama. Is it because there so in love with him? Is it because there afraid of being labeled a racist? Is it because they just don't seem to think he's said or done anything that would be considered funny? David Letterman (who quit being funny once he left NBC) tried to answer this question last week but wound up doing a lame skit where he tells the same old "dumb Bush" jokes by replacing Bush's name with Obama's.

Well there's some left-wing blogger over at the Huffington Post who thinks he has the answer as to why comedians don't tell jokes about Obama. It's because he's just so competent. Oh really Huffington Post? Here's a great little video of President Obama detailing some of his past gaffes and guffaws over the past year. While watching it just ask yourself, "Does Obama look or sound any more intelligent then Bush did?"

Here's some other great moments of Obama "competence" that I could think of off the top of my head that didn't make it into the video. There's the "competent" Obama "sweetie" comment to a female reporter. Then there's the "competent" Obama nominating six tax-cheats to his White House administration. Then there's the "competent" Obama choosing Joe Biden as his Vice-President. And then there's probably the greatest moment in Obama "competence" by buzzing Ground Zero with Air Force One.

Those are just a few of the "competent" decisions from President Obama that I could think of. Can you think of any others?

Oh, by the way, if anyone is looking for someone to goof on President Obama, then maybe they should look this guy up. VERY FUNNY!

The problem is Stormin, you know these gaffes are no match for Bush's, be honest.

It's like watching Richard Pyror tell jokes for four years and then along comes Gilbert Godfrey to tell some jokes........nowhere near as funny.

That's the problem. Even the conservative comedians are struggling.

Flavor, Obama has done all of this in just 100 days. What about Biden? There is a hypocrisy here and you simply will never admit it. What do you think would have happened if last night would have played out at a Bush event?

No Chuck those were from the campaign and the first 100 days so well over a year now not three months. Gaffes are gaffes. The only dumb thing I rember was the 57 states thing.

But idiotic statements were another thing for Bush. He had his own vocabulary for words, come on!
It's like you guys are afraid to admit it! He was the biggest gaffe president in history.

The blank stares on his face etc.... that's what made him an easy target.

How can you say I would never admit hypocrisy? Of course the MSM is hypocrites. They are all liberal and will publicize republicans gaffes more than democrats. But watch Fox and conservative sites and they do the exact same, they just don't have as many outlets as we do.

Look, past republican presidents did not get pummeled like W. has. He was his own worse enemy. His dad did not have it no where near as bad neither did Reagan.

When it's easy to make fun of someone the media will do it. You act like Clinton wasn't made to look like a greedy fat ass horn dog that he was. All the time in the media they made fun of him.

The thing is Chuck conservatives and liberals are both hypocrites, and we know it.

And now the last few quotes before Bush left office:

"In terms of the economy, look, I inherited a recession, I am ending on a recession." --George W. Bush, Washington, D.C., Jan. 12, 2009

"I'm telling you there's an enemy that would like to attack America, Americans, again. There just is. That's the reality of the world. And I wish him all the very best." --George W. Bush, Washington, D.C., Jan. 12, 2009

"I've abandoned free market principles to save the free market system." --George W. Bush, Washington, D.C., Dec. 16, 2008

"This thaw -- took a while to thaw, it's going to take a while to unthaw." --George W. Bush, on liquidity in the markets, Alexandria, La., Oct. 20, 2008

"First of all, I don't see America having problems." --George W. Bush, interview with Bob Costas at the 2008 Olympics, Beijing, China, Aug. 10, 2008

All that in the last few months.....that guy was comic gold.

No jokes about Reagan or his Dad.....just him.
