Obama promises to expand Bush's wiretap surveillance program

Freudian slip perhaps? While announcing his get tough policy on piracy off the coast of Somalia President Obama made the following gaffe.

"And I want to be very clear that we are resolved to halt the rise of privacy in that region."

Obama not present during Senate hearings on Somalia, piracy (Hot Air)

I give him credit for sticking to the wiretap program. Funny how Bush was right all along on this. Course Obama will never say that.

As far as this.

"And I want to be very clear that we are resolved to halt the rise of privacy in that region."Why should the Somalis be any different than us?

@ Chuck ... the Somali's should have their privacy infringed upon. they should have wiretaps all up in their asses and then we would know when and where there going to hit next. wiretapping them would be a great way to fight their piracy!
