The "leg" thrill is gone
LBJ once commented that when he lost Walther Cronkite on Vietnam that that was when he lost the public opinion battle on the war with the American people. Is the same thing now happening with President Obama and his version of Walter Cronkite, Chris Matthews? In a rare television moment, it seems that that thrill running up Chris Matthews leg may have stopped.
