All I have to say is When Bush took office, the national debt was $5.73 trillion. When he left, it was $10.7 trillion. That's a difference of $4.97 trillion, almost doubled.
No pointing fingers when it happens under his watch he is the Prez he takes the heat.
So conservatives can't preach fiscal responsibility without sounding like hypocrites.
Sorry Flavor but there's two problems with your assertion.
One, most of us on these blogs have been critical of the money Bush and the GOP congress has spent. Further, this is a big reason why the GOP lost control of Congress. There wasn't a sudden infusion of Democratic voters, conservatives didn't come out to protest the way the GOP had lost it's way.
Second, by some estimates, in less than a month Obama has increased the debt by 2/3 of Bush's increase in debt over 8 years. Some estimates place the actual cost at 3.27 Trillion dollars
i'm definitly onboard with that one Flavor. let me just add that i much prefer the way Bush spent his money fighting wars and killing terrorists then Obama spending his money on welfare mothers who have no business giving birth to eight children when you already got six at home with no husband and no job.

That real estimate you gave me would also put Bush's bank bailout at around the same cost then wouldn't?
The next time I'm in either one of you guys area we gotta have a beer and play some pool.
Then I think we could have a good debate.
Take Care guys
