The class and generosity of President George W. Bush

I'm quite sure that we won't hear stories of stolen furniture or missing "O" keys from White House computers by a bunch of immature sore losers like our last President.

"We wish you all the very best, and so does the country."
- President George W. Bush

Say all the bad things you want about Bush but the fact is he is NOT going to be rated the worst President we've ever had. In the academia world he will probably be rated average.

8 years of no scandals! 8 years! The President-elect isn't even in office yet and already has a scandal on his hands.

@ CH ... i totally agree. he may not have been all we as conservatives would have wanted him to be, but speaking as a veteran and believer in a strong military and national security, he was more then we could ever ask for.

Christopher summed it up well. I was thinking, Obama is not even sworn in yet and some appointees are bowing out, the Dems must be back in town.

If you remember, Clinton had a revolving door installed on his cabinet for all that had to resign in disgrace and he essentially had to appoint two of everything to have a back up for the first choice when they bowed out.

Looks like we're getting a twofer, the far left incompetence of Carter combined with the sleaziness of Slick Willie. It's almost as if they had a secret love child. lol.

@ Chuck ... ah yes, i certainly remember those good old days. Zoe Baird, Kimba Woods, Les Aspin, Lani Guinier, the guy who took the Presidential helo for a golf outing. those are just a few at the top of my head.
