American's shocked to discover SNL still on-the-air

For the first time in 14 years America stayed home and tuned into Saturday Night Live to see (drum roll please!) the real Sarah Palin. Palin's appearance averaged a 10.7 rating/24 share in the 56 metered markets. It was SNL's highest rated show since March 12, 1994, when Olympic skater Nancy Kerrigan was the host and Aretha Franklin the musical guest. I believe this was due to the Kerrigan/Harding incident.

P.S. CNN's Alina Cho gets honorable mention as "Asian Babe of the Week".
