Is YouTube protecting Obama's ass?

Is there any connection between Obama and Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich? The surest way to make me feel that some sort of crime has been committed is the appearance of a cover-up. YouTube yesterday had a video up on their website of Barack Obama's senior advisor David Axelrod appearing on FOX News's Chicago affiliate. During that Nov. 23rd interview Axelrod made the following statement:

"I know he's talked to the governor and there are a whole range of names many of which have surfaced, and I think he has a fondness for a lot of them."

Barack Obama yesterday came out with the following statement:

"I had no contact with the governor or his office and so we were not, I was not aware of what was happening."

Hmmmmm?

Well now guess what? The David Axelrod interview is now totally gone from the YouTube website. If you try to click on it from any website that had it embedded into their post, you now get a "Video no longer available" message.

Hmmmmm?

Guess what again? Team O has come out and spanked Axelrod as being wrong about what he said and has forced Axelrod to come out and say he mis-spoke.

Hmmmmm?

I smell a cover-up in the making.

Even though the YouTube video may be gone, you can still view Axelrod's comment on this video over at EyeBlast TV.

Forget this birth certificate crap! Now we have a real controversy to focus on.

Questions Arise About the Obama/Blagojevich Relationship (Political Punch)
Obama: I never talked to Blagojevich about the Senate seat; Axelrod: Yes, he did (Hot Air)
The Blagojevich Timeline: Everything Fits Easily Except Obama's Monday Denial (The Volokh Conspiracy)

I just knew that I had read somewhere that Obama was recommending his Senate replacement.

He had to have known something. Something. For him to say he didn't know anything isn't logical.

@ CH ... you bet. he sounded rather sure of himself when he made that statement, plus he was Obama's right hand man during the campaign. He certainly knows something.

Why does everyone have to know something guys? Did we know Bush would have done such a terrible job?

Did the United States know Saddam would be a bad guy when we put him in power?

Did Mccain know his buddy Keating was a fraud?

I know my state is corrupt. Especially Chicago, I live right in the heart of the city. The thing is here.

All of them interact with each other crooked and non-crooked. The bad ones go down eventually, and the honest spend their time distancing themselves from their counterparts.

That's how business is done here, and I know it will never change. Greed is a powerful thing. You can work with a crook without yourself being one. We all work around people who do things we could never imagine.

Guilt by association is crap. I grew up in a neighborhood full of crime, I myself never did anything illegal but knew in order to survive I had to have some association with those that did.

If Obama had anything to do with it, I guarantee you Pat Fitzgerald would take him down in a heartbeat. He is relentless against corruption, both parties, he can care less.

Take Care Stormin...and yes I had a great Thanksgiving!

@ Flavor Country ... my only problem with the "what we know" and "what we don't know" question is that in the case of Obama the mainstream media didn't want to know anything bad about Obama. the mainstream media absolutely refused to seriously look into Obama's questionable relationships with Wright, Rezko, Ayers, Khalidi, Dorn, Odinga, and now Blago. instead they wanted to create this media image of him of being a political "messiah" who could walk on water, and bring hope and change (by bringing back the entire Clinton cabinet). how come GWB didn't get this fawning media attention? just a few days before his first election in 2000 they trumpet his DUI arrest back in his college days. then prior to his second election in 2004 CBS forges some phoney National Guard documents against him. the media certainly wants to know everything in the world when it comes to a Republican nominee for POTUS, but never wants to take a serious look at the Democrat nominee. then when some political scandal pops up from his homestate or hometown the media wants to act just as surprised as you and me. the media ought to know that IL and especially Chicago is the most politically corrupt state and city in all of America. so any politician coming from there certainly ought to be looked at. instead we get Tom Brokaw and Charlie Rose admitting that they know absolutely nothing about Obama.
