Apollo 11 ... remembered
If your a huge history buff like me you may want to check this out. Forty years ago yesterday, July 16, 1969, the Apollo 11 mission blasted off on man's first attempt to land a man on the moon. This mission was accomplished successfully on July 20, 1969 when Neil Armstrong stepped onto the surface of the moon and uttered those famous words, "That's one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind".
Now you can re-live that entire mission (sights and sounds)from start to finish by going to www.wechoosethemoon.org. Experience again the greatness of American ingenuity and can-do spirit.
