Obama claimed during a radio interview in 2007 that the terrorists world would have a different view of how they see America simply because he lived in a Muslim country, some of his family are Muslim, and because he's such a great listener to the gripes of the Muslim world.
Via Naked Emperor News:
Unfortunately for Obama the terrorists world thinks he's weak and a joke when it comes to appealing to the Muslim world. According to this report of the nearly 30 homegrown terror plots that have been discovered since September 11, 2001 ten of them occurred after Obama was sworn in.
Former CIA agent Bob Baer concluded in a security study three years ago that a flight originating from Amsterdam to Detroit would be vulnerable to a terrorist attack.
Karl Rove literally schooled President Obama on his administrations pathetic "Blame Bush First" response to NWA Flight 253 and their pansy-ass approach to fighting terrorism. Rove for President!
As hard as I'm sure they tried not too two media allies of the Obama administration can't ignore the facts and have to report the truth of Janet Napolitanos' system working to stop terrorists from trying to blow up airliners. The Washington Post and CBS News are both reporting that Obamas' State Department completely dropped the ball concerning the matter of Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab even though they were being warned of his jihadist motives by his own family. This news was not important enough for Obama to be distracted by while he was busy ramrodding health care through Congress.
CBS News has learned the State Department system designed to keep track of active U.S. visas twice failed to reveal Nigerian terror suspect Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab had been issued an active visa allowing him multiple entries into the United States.
According to a law enforcement source, the first failure came on Nov. 19, 2009, the very same day Abdulmutallab father’s, Dr. Umaru Mutallab, a prominent banking official in Nigeria, expressed deep concern to officials at the U.S. Embassy in Abjua, Nigeria, that his 23-year-old son had fallen under the influence of "religious extremists" in Yemen.
The second failure to flag an active visa belonging to Abdulmuttalab occurred the very next day in Washington, after Mutallab's concerns were forwarded to officials there. It was only after the Christmas Day terror attack in Detroit that U.S. officials learned that Abdulmuttalab had been issued a visa by the U.S. Embassy in London valid from June 16, 2008, through June 12, 2010.
"Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, charged with the attempted Christmas Day bombing of Northwest Airlines flight 253, told FBI agents there were more just like him in Yemen who would strike soon."
Today Show host Matt Lauer just had to ask to obvious question to Janet Napolitano ... WTF are you talking about when you said "the system worked"?
What we are focused on is making sure that the air environment remains safe, that people are confident when they travel. And one thing I’d like to point out is that the system worked. Everybody played an important role here. The passengers and crew of the flight took appropriate action.
-Janet Napolitano
Ms. Napolitano naturally had to come up with the ol' "taken out of context" defense and clarify her remark that she was talking about the system working AFTER the terrorist attempt, not before. Well gee Ms. Napolitano, what good is your system then if it only works after a terrorist attack and not before?
ABC News is reporting that the bomb that Abdul Farouk Umar Abdulmutallab tried to detonate on NWA Flight 253 was sewn into his underwear:
The plot to blow up an American passenger jet over Detroit was organized and launched by al Qaeda leaders in Yemen who apparently sewed bomb materials into the suspect's underwear before sending him on his mission, federal authorities tell ABC News.
Investigators say the suspect had more than 80 grams of PETN, a compound related to nitro-glycerin used by the military. The so-called shoe bomber, Richard Reid, had only about 50 grams kin his failed attempt in 2001 to blow up a U.S.-bound jet. Yesterday's bomb failed because the detonator may have been too small or was not in "proper contact" with the explosive material, investigators told ABC News.
Investigators say the suspect, Abdul Farouk Umar Abdulmutallab, a 23-year-old Nigerian student whose birthday was last Tuesday, has provided detailed information about his recruitment and training for what was supposed to be a Christmas Day suicide attack.
Osama Bin Laden sent his response to Obamas' kiss and make-up speech in Cairo by sending a 23-year-old Nigerian, Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, on a homicide mission to blow up NWA Flight 253 over the skies of Detroit.
ABC News reports on how President Obama will spend his Christmas relating to the everyday plight of common man during this recession filled holiday season.
Video of 25-year-old Susanna Maiolo jumping the barricade to knock the Pope down. CNN reports that she tried the same stunt last year during Christmas Mass. You would think Vatican security would have had her on there radar.
The first family hangs Christmas ornaments on the White House Christmas tree in the Blue Room with the picture of Chinese Communist leader Chairman Mao Tse Tung on them.
Steven Crowder takes a tour of Michael Moore's favorite city, Detroit. Looks more like Pyongyang. Wouldn't it have been safer for Al Gore to have sent Laura Ling and Euna Lee to Detroit? I'm sure nobody would have been able to tell the difference between North Korea and Detroit, MI.
Judging by the snowballers total lack of respect for the law and authority I'm going to take a wild guess here and say that all or an overwhelming majority of these people are Obama voters.
And Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI) demonstrated it this morning. It's so that they can call anyone and everyone in the Republican party and all white people in general who opposes Barack Obama as just a bunch of racist rednecks and right-wing lunatics. I always knew that the moment that Obama was elected that this was going to be the new ploy of the Democrats. Tar-and-feather your critics and opponents with the cry of racial bigotry, intolerance, and hatred. Thanks for proving me right Sen. Whitehouse.
"They are desperate to break this president. They have ardent supporters who are nearly hysterical at the very election of President Barack Obama. The birthers, the fanatics, the people running around in right-wing militia and Aryan support groups, it is unbearable to them that President Barack Obama should exist. That is one powerful reason. It is not the only one.”
No, it was not a sign in the heavens hearlding the arrival of Obama coming to Norway to accept his undeserved Nobel Peace Prize (as I'm sure many liberals believed) but rather a failed ICBM missile launch by the Russians.
And we're not talking the boxers or briefs kind of Hanes either. News is leaking that Sen. Max Baucus (D-MT) nominated his girlfriend, Melodee Hanes, for U.S. Attorney General for the State of Montana.
Oh no, he wasn't going to apologize on his own. He admits that it took at least a good 24 hours of pounding from critics, cadets, former cadets, and the parents of cadets before he was going to "I'm sorry". Save your apologies Chrissy. Your nothing but a liberal phony, a hypocrite, and a bald-face liar. You said exactly what you meant to say by calling our brave men and women in uniform the "enemy camp".
Muntather al-Zaydi, the infamous Iraqi shoe-thrower, gets the favor returned to him during a press conference in Paris (naturally) as he gloats about his stupidity.
This video says it all. This Commander-in-Chief does not inspire much confidence or enthusiasm from our future Army leaders who's task it will be to carry out his orders of battle out in the field of combat. They certainly don't look as though they have been overcome with the phenomena of hope and change.
Secret Service is trying to minimize the security risk to the President by saying that the couple did pass through a magnetometer screening and was never near the President, but does a magnetometer detect such things as anthrax or suicide belt?
She may have won me back to watching the CBS Evening News if she can do this and read the news off of the teleprompter at the same time. More pics of Katie at Gawker.
The Ditherer-in-Chief President Obama tries to disguise his true feelings towards our brave men and women in uniform by jokingly telling them “You guys make a pretty good photo op”. That's exactly why he went to Dover with a handful of photographers to have this picture taken.
A man who can never claim to have stayed at a Holiday Inn Express. Al Gore is slithering around NBC this week to promote their ridiculous "Green Week" of shows to propagate the myth of man-made global warming. During his appearance on the "Tonight Show w/Conan O'Brien" our environmental pied piper told this incredible and yet easily debunked lie while discussing geothermal energy:
It definitely is, and it’s a relatively new one. People think about geothermal energy — when they think about it at all — in terms of the hot water bubbling up in some places, but two kilometers or so down in most places there are these incredibly hot rocks, ’cause the interior of the earth is extremely hot, several million degrees, and the crust of the earth is hot …
Wrong Al. If that were true there wouldn't be any life at all to speak of on Earth. We could probably provide heat to the moon let alone our own homes.
Here's what someone with a slightly higher IQ then Gore has to say on the matter. Via John Derbyshire:
The geothermal gradient is usually quoted as 25–50 degrees Celsius per mile of depth in normal terrain (not, e.g., in the crater of Kilauea). Two kilometers down, therefore, (that's a mile and a quarter if you're not as science-y as Al) you'll have an average gain of 30–60 degrees — exploitable for things like home heating, though not hot enough to make a nice pot of tea. The temperature at the earth's core, 4,000 miles down, is usually quoted as 5,000 degrees Celsius, though these guys claim it's much less, while some contrarian geophysicists have posted claims up to 9,000 degrees. The temperature at the surface of the Sun is around 6,000 degrees Celsius, while at the center, where nuclear fusion is going on bigtime, things get up over 10 million degrees.
I wish I could find it but Gore is making a cameo appearance on one of the NBC shows this week (I think it's 30 Rock) where he plays a custodian. One of his lines is, and I'm paraphrasing, "There's an old African proverb that I just made up ... recycle everything". Al Gore has been making up a whole lot of things.
Just how big is the stimulus package? Well for one, it has doubled the size of the House of Representatives, according to recovery.gov, which says that funds were distributed to 440 congressional districts that do not exist.
According to data retrieved from recovery.gov, nearly $6.4 billion was used to “create or save” just under 30,000 jobs in these phantom congressional districts–almost $225,000 per job. The web site operates on an $84 million budget and is tasked with monitoring the distribution of the $787 billion stimulus package passed by Congress–which, for the record, counts 435 members–in early 2009.
The site’s monitors, however, are not too savvy about America’s political or geographic landscape. More than $2 million was given to the 99th District of North Dakota, a state which has only one congressional district. In order to qualify for 99 districts, North Dakota would have to have a population of about 60 million people, almost 24 million more people than California.
The stimulus revived 8 recently retired congressional districts. Pennsylvania’s 21st District has received just under $2 million in funds. Mississippi’s 5th District and Oklahoma’s 6th received $1 million from the legislation, respectively. All three were eliminated by the 2000 census.
Many other recipients carried the banner for congressional districts that have been defunct for decades. South Carolina’s 7th took the cake, garnering more than $27 million in stimulus funds, despite being eliminated in 1930. And Virginia’s 12th District may have been written off at the start of the Civil War, but it must carry some sentimental value in Old Dominion–it received more than $2 million, according to recovery.gov.
Obama sends message to world leaders ... stick it in my ass!
Will the White House trot out that lame picking something up off the floor defense again? Perhaps Obama was just showing his appreciation for all that Kobe beef.
"He screamed allah akbar and then started shooting"
- Army Specialist Logan Burnette
Spc. Logan Burnette disobeys his Commander-in-Chief's explicit orders by jumping to some rather unbelievable conclusions of what he saw and heard at Ft. Hood last Thursday.
Ralph Peters of the New York Post gets it. Why not our leaders who have sworn an oath to protect us from the Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan's of the world. Read what Mr. Peters wrote about this preventable tragedy:
On Thursday afternoon, a radicalized Muslim US Army officer shouting, "Allahu akbar!" ("God is great!") committed the worst act of terror on American soil since 9/11. And no one wants to call it an act of terror or associate it with Islam.
What cowards we are. Political correctness killed those patriotic Americans at Fort Hood as surely as the Islamist gunman did. And the media treat it like a case of nondenominational shoplifting.
This was a terrorist act. When an extremist plans and executes a murderous plot against our unarmed soldiers to protest our efforts to counter Islamist fanatics, it's an act of terror. Period.
When the terrorist posts anti-American hate speech on the Web; apparently praises suicide bombers and uses his own name; loudly criticizes US policies; argues (as a psychiatrist, no less) with his military patients over the worth of their sacrifices; refuses, in the name of Islam, to be photographed with female colleagues; lists his nationality as "Palestinian" in a Muslim spouse-matching program and parades around central Texas in a fundamentalist playsuit -- well, it only seems fair to call this terrorist an "Islamist terrorist."
But the president won't. Despite his promise to get to all the facts. Because there's no such thing as "Islamist terrorism" in ObamaWorld.
And the Army won't. Because its senior leaders are so sick with political correctness that pandering to America haters is safer than calling terrorism "terrorism."
And the media won't. Because they have more interest in the shooter than in our troops -- despite their crocodile tears.
Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan planned this terrorist attack and executed it in cold blood. The resulting massacre was the first tragedy. The second was that he wasn't killed on the spot.
Hasan survived. Now the rest of us will have to foot his massive medical bills. Activist lawyers will get involved, claiming "harassment" drove him temporarily insane. There'll be no end of trial delays. At best, taxpayer dollars will fund his prison lifestyle for decades to come, since our politically correct Army leadership wouldn't dare pursue or carry out the death penalty.
Maj. Hasan will be a hero to Islamist terrorists abroad and their sympathizers here. While US Muslim organizations decry his acts publicly, Hasan will be praised privately. And he'll have the last laugh.
But Hasan isn't the sole guilty party. The US Army's unforgivable political correctness is also to blame for the casualties at Fort Hood.
Given the myriad warning signs, it's appalling that no action was taken against a man apparently known to praise suicide bombers and openly damn US policy. But no officer in his chain of command, either at Walter Reed Army Medical Center or at Fort Hood, had the guts to take meaningful action against a dysfunctional soldier and an incompetent doctor.
Had Hasan been a Lutheran or a Methodist, he would've been gone with the simoom. But officers fear charges of discrimination when faced with misconduct among protected minorities.
Now 12 soldiers and a security guard lie dead. At least 38 people were wounded, 28 of them seriously. If heads don't roll in this maggot's chain of command, the Army will have shamed itself beyond moral redemption.
There's another important issue, too. How could the Army allow an obviously incompetent and dysfunctional psychiatrist to treat our troubled soldiers returning from war? An Islamist wacko is counseled for arguing with veterans who've been assigned to his care? And he's not removed from duty? What planet does the Army live on?
For the first time since I joined the Army in 1976, I'm ashamed of its dereliction of duty. The chain of command protected a budding terrorist who was waving one red flag after another. Because it was safer for careers than doing something about him.
Get ready for the apologias. We've already heard from the terrorist's family that "he's a good American." In their world, maybe he is.
But when do we, the American public, knock off the PC nonsense?
A disgruntled Muslim soldier murdered his officers way back in 2003, in Kuwait, on the eve of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Recently? An American mullah shoots it out with the feds in Detroit. A Muslim fanatic attacks an Arkansas recruiting station. A Muslim media owner, after playing the peace card, beheads his wife. A Muslim father runs over his daughter because she's becoming too Westernized.
Muslim terrorist wannabes are busted again and again. And we're assured that "Islam's a religion of peace."
I guarantee you that the Obama administration's nonresponse to the Fort Hood attack will mock the memory of our dead.
But unfortunately our politically correct Army Chief of Staff, Gen. George Casey, is more concerned about Muslims and keeping diversity alive in the Army instead of our soldiers.
"...I’m concerned that this increased speculation could cause a backlash against some of our Muslim soldiers. And I’ve asked our Army leaders to be on the lookout for that. It would be a shame — as great a tragedy as this was, it would be a shame if our diversity became a casualty as well."
That is unless our Muslim terrorist sympathizing President doesn't step in and give him a stay of execution because we're all probably jumping to conclusions. Here's a recap of the Islamic jihadist crimes for which he'll be made to pay for tonight.
MSNBC anchor Contessa Brewer introduces Rev. Jesse "Nutcutter" Jackson as the Rev. Al Sharpton. This did not sit to well with Jackson and he quickly corrected her on her mistake. Is this how real news networks operate?
Photo of HHS Director Kathleen Sebelius giving testimony this morning on the overblown H1N1 virus. Her spokeswoman Jenny Backus claims that Ms. Sebelius is "back fighting to get everyone the same good health care she has," after undergoing removal of a basal cell carcinoma. Really Ms. Backus? She's fighting for all us to get the exact same type of health care coverage that she receives? Is the kind of health care that Ms. Sebelius gets the same kind of health care that is being offered to all Americans?
That's a good question, which I'm sure there even asking themselves, considering CNN's ratings. By the way, I wonder where that 6-year-old learned to speak like that?
Let's face it folks. That's what this is all about. FOX News was the only media outlet that dared to report and air those ACORN "sting" undercover videos and now President Obama is going to bat for his ACORN cronies by having his top administration officials go out and trash FOX News. Obama has always expressed his hatred for FOX but now he's really escalating his war against them since the ACORN fiasco.
Has the definition of being a racist changed? I wouldn't think that a racist would be willing to be part of a bidding team that wants to buy a professional football franchise who's roster is significantly black, and an entire league which is predominately black. But yet for some reason liberals in the mainstream media are overwhelmingly opposed to Rush Limbaugh wanting to pay millions to the salaries of black athletes. So opposed in fact that there going so far as to Bush him by making up quotes and attributing to him that he never said. Chris Matthews hates Rush so much that he fantasizes of somebody killing him.
Stunned local news anchor calls it a "message of hope" before re-gaining his senses. I don't understand why space aliens would choose a blue state of all places to leave such a crop circle.
Did the Secret Service get involved with all those Bush/Hitler/Swastika comparisons?
What kind of a moron actually takes the time to fact check a comedy routine on SNL? A Wolf Blitzer type of moron, that's who.
For the record, I don't think Blitzer ever did a fact check of Sarah Palin skits on SNL.
UPDATE: It looks like this skit has more people at CNN other then Wolf Blitzer a little unnerved. Is CNN getting scared that a totally liberal in-the-tank network like NBC is daring to mock the "messiah"?
More "creepy" reports are beginning to emerge about David Letterman and his sexual appetite. The New York Daily News is reporting that Letterman maintained a sex bunker on the upper floor of the Ed Sullivan Theater for whenever he felt a little randy.
An ex-"Late Show" intern unmasked herself Saturday as one of David Letterman's former flings - and sources revealed the randy funnyman keeps a bachelor pad atop the Ed Sullivan Theater.
